"Tomorrow I'll be sitting on the plane back home to Finland... So weird,
doesn't even feel like I'm leaving yet! I mean I just came here, didn't
I? All I can really say is thank you to all the wonderful people who
made this year the best experience in my entire life! Thanks to my
host-family for putting up with me; I know I can be a handful. Thanks to my
two lovely sisters, I couldn't have wished for better
ones. And thank you to all my friends, I will miss you all so much.!
Coming to America has really made me realize a lot of things about this
world, and I've definitely grown up in every possible way. Before I
didn't really know where I was going or what I wanted with my life.
Today, I can say I know exactly where I stand and what I want from life.
This year put me through so many challenges and hard times you can't
fully understand unless you've been an exchange student. This year has
been a hell of a roller coaster ride, but man am I glad I chose to get
on it!"
